Myobank examines the requests and checks that they satisfy the applied ethical and deontologic criteria concerning the collection and use of human tissue.
If the number of requests is higher than the quantity of tissue available, the research subject conditions the priority. Subjects supported by the AFM (rare diseases and neuromuscular diseases) have priority. Requests outside this field are undergo an examination by the medical and scientific director of the Myology Institute Association.
