Created by the AFM in 1996, the AFM tissue bank for research Myobank is a not-for-profit professional service for scientific teams. It proposes to obtain the tissue samples necessary for their work in the best conditions and offer them a secure storage site to accommodate their collections of biological samples. It engages the help necessary for the collection of samples, it prepares the tissues, stores them or transports them according to the wishes of the scientists.
Samples come from patients affected with neuromuscular or rare diseases, but also from healthy subjects.
